Life is more than what we think it is. It is a beautiful matinee with emotions, thoughts, experiences and events. During our lifetime, we all experience a lot of situations– some exciting, while the others are gloomy.

But almost everyone we see around is unhappy- feeling unfulfilled within. The reason: we don’t ponder upon the reason we want to live — most say. Many even equate happiness with desires like:

  • I want more money
  • I want high social status
  • I want a nice job
  • I want more projects
  • I want a loving partner

The Real Reason Behind our Unfulfilled Desires (& Unhappiness)

You might say all you want is to make others happy, to earn a lot, to prove yourself to the world, or just find love.

But have you really understood your inner deepest desire? Do you know the reason behind all your expectations from life? Is it not right to say that whenever we achieve something, we tend to lose its importance?

A child loses his excitement over a toy when he gets hold of it.

People lose interest in jobs as soon as they grab one.

Many students stop being committed once he joins a prestigious college.

Money doesn’t satisfy a person no matter how much he earns

In short, we crib throughout our lives for one thing or the other. We never tend to be happy from within for anything we achieve.

A human soul tends to demand more. Failing to understand the deepest desire leaves us dissatisfied and ultimately unhappy for life.
